Step-by-step
- Sign in at tellmegen.com.
- Open your Profile → My results → Genetic data.
- Click Download raw data.
- Accept the consent dialog — tellmeGen reminds you the raw file isn't a clinical report.
- Save the resulting
.txt(or.zipdepending on your account region) — around 5–7 MB.
What's in the file?
tellmeGen exports a tab-separated file with ~700,000 SNPs inrsid · chromosome · position · genotype format, with header comments. Standard 23andMe-shaped TSV.
Heads-up
- tellmeGen uses the Illumina GSA chip — good coverage of pharmacogenes (CYP2C19, CYP2D6, etc.).
- The "Advanced DNA Test" tier includes more positions, but the export format is identical.
- If the download button is greyed out, your kit may still be in processing — wait for the results email.

In-memory processing, EU servers, deleted within 24 hours. The derived report is yours.
